Integrity of SLCP VBs & Verification Process
For SLCP, the integrity and quality of our VBs, Verifiers, verification process and data are one of the highest priorities. As one of the ways to ensure this, we are seeking alignment with APSCA. SLCP has been informed of APSCA’s disciplinary action against a firm and revocation of their membership from APSCA due to “improper copying and distribution of APSCA’s certification exam questions”.
The firm is also an SLCP approved VB. Due to this breach of integrity, SLCP is revoking their VB status. Once they have achieved Full Member status with APSCA again, they are permitted to reapply for SLCP approval as VB.
A few facilities currently have this VB selected for an assessment. SLCP has contacted these facilities individually to alert them about the case. They are free to continue with the VB to close out the verification by the end of April, should they wish to do so. For future verifications, facilities will not be able to select this VB for SLCP verifications until reapplication has been approved. 2021 CAF v1.4 Roll-Out Getting Closer!
We are excited about the upcoming launch of the Converged Assessment Framework (CAF) version 1.4 by the end of this month. You can access the full roll-out schedule on the Gateway. In preparation for the launch, we have added resources to our Helpdesk (including a User guide) to help you understand the main changes to the Data Collection Tool. We will be updating you with details in the next coming weeks. Stay tuned!
