Post-event networking reception

We will be organizing a post event drinks and dinner reception for anyone who would like to participate at a cost of €125 per person. As a nonprofit organization, SLCP is unfortunately not able to cover this expense. The reception will include a drinks reception followed by a three-course dinner and will be within walking distance of the Radisson Blu Istanbul Ottomare. We do hope many of you will join! Please indicate in the registration form if you would like to join and make your payment via this link.

Meet the speakers

Annabel Meurs

Associate Director - Fair Wear SLCP Board Member

Annabel Meurs is an expert in Human Rights Due Diligence with over 12 years’ experience in advancing human rights in the global garment, textile and footwear supply chains. As part of Fair Wear’s management team, she oversees the strategic development of methodologies to prevent and remediate labor rights violations in garment producing countries. She manages a wide range of stakeholders from labour NGOs and trade union organizations in production countries, to international institutions such as the ILO and OECD. Annabel was also at the forefront of developing the Brand Performance check system; the set of indicators that measures brands’ progress in implementing their due diligence responsibilities. Prior to Fair Wear, Annabel worked in development aid, lobby and advocacy and the European Centre for Conflict Prevention.

Nikhil Hirdaramani

Director - Hirdaramani Group SLCP Board Member

Nikhil Hirdaramani is the Director of the Hirdaramani Group. He oversees the company’s sustainability strategy, focusing on both social and environmental initiatives. Nikhil also continues to be an avid advocate of sustainability within the wider industry, and has been member of the board of Sedex, and currently of SAC. Nikhil has a BA in International Relations from Tufts University, USA and an MBA from Imperial College UK.

Nesrin Başer

Director Corporate Sustainability - SLN Tekstil ve Moda

Nesrin Başer is the Director of Corporate Sustainability at SLN Tekstil ve Moda, a Türkiye-based garment manufacturer supplying leading international brands.
She leads SLN’s Corporate Sustainability team across its three facilities and wider supply chain, with responsibilities spanning social compliance, DEI, environmental sustainability, climate action, and responsible supply chain management. She also oversees SLN’s CDP disclosures, annual Environmental Impact Reports and Sustainability Reports.
As part of her role at SLN, she has coordinated capacity-building projects with UN agencies, NGOs, universities, and brand partners, focusing on management–employee dialogue, women’s empowerment, refugee integration, and employee satisfaction. She contributes to international sustainability initiatives and industry programs representing SLN. She is also the member of SLCP Manufacturer Taskforce.

Michael Cai

Director of Operations & Supply Chain - Décor (Suzhou) Co. Limited SLCP Board Member

Michael is the Director of Operations & Supply Chain at Décor (Suzhou) Co. Limited, managing a sophisticated supply chain at a global scale. He is a veteran in the textile and garment industry since 1998, with extensive experience in merchandising, product development, operations and supply chain management, responsible sourcing and sustainability. Michael is passionate, open-minded and eager to contribute his part for a better planet for all.

Kathryn Smith

VP Human Rights Risk Solutions - Worldly

‍

Kathryn serves as Worldly’s, Vice President, Human Rights Risk Solutions, leading its social compliance and human rights strategy. Prior to joining Worldly, Kathryn served as Senior Director, Responsible Sourcing – Human Rights & Environment at Walmart, where she spent nearly 12 years building and running programs that set the standard for large-scale supply chain accountability.

Nikita Grabher-Meyer

Technical Officer, Research and Impact - Better Work

Nikita supports the coordination and implementation of Better Work’s research and impact agenda in collaboration with academic partners and researchers. She is also responsible for promoting the integration of research findings into the operational and service-delivery work of the programme in coordination with Better Work Global and Country Programme teams.
Earlier in her career, Nikita worked as a Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer at the Better Cotton Initiative in Geneva, and she served as a Research Intern and Consultant for the ILO’s Research Department.
Her research has been focused on the behavioural foundations of compliance and ethical conduct, examining how governance systems and interventions shape perceptions, decision-making, and behaviour within organizations and society.

Arindama Banerjee

Responsible Sourcing Client Management Lead for Asia - LRQA SLCP Board member

Arindama Banerjee leads Responsible Sourcing Client Management for Asia at LRQA, driving client engagement at both global and regional levels. In her role, she serves as a strategic partner to brands and retailers, supporting the design, implementation, and monitoring of responsible sourcing programs across complex supply chains. With nearly 20 years of experience in ethical sourcing, social compliance, and sustainability, Arindama has held leadership positions at Tesco, IRFT, Next Group, Oxylane Group (Decathlon), and SGS India. Her career reflects a consistent commitment to advancing supply chain responsibility, ensuring compliance, and fostering sustainable business practices.

Joleen Ong

Senior Director of Brand and Retailer Activation - Cascale SLCP Board Member

Joleen Ong is the Senior Director of Brand and Retailer Activation at Cascale. With over 15 years of experience in sustainability and human rights, Joleen has deep expertise in operationalizing supply chain programs within global brands. Prior to Cascale, she served as Sustainability Director at Fanatics and led the Sustainable Manufacturing and global licensing social responsibility programs at Columbia Sportswear. She began her career at Social Accountability International, where she built its communications program and co-founded the Global Living Wage Coalition.
She is the recipient of The College of New Jersey’s 2026 Humanitarian Award, recognizing her contributions to advancing social impact in global supply chains and fair compensation.

Baptiste Carriere-Pradal

Director - 2B Policy

Baptiste brings extensive expertise from the Apparel and Footwear ecosystem, having worked with manufacturers from Asia to Eastern Europe and South America, established and led Decathlon’s first global sustainability department and launched the Sustainable Apparel Coalition’s European Office. As co-founder of 2B Policy, he focuses on sustainability and policy consulting. Beyond his professional roles, Baptiste contributes to his family’s organic and agroforestry wine estate in Southern France.

Anna Burger

Independent Expert SLCP Board Member‍ ‍

Anna held a role as top-ranking officer at Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and first Chair of the Labor Federation, Change to Win, and was hailed by Fortune Magazine as “the most powerful woman in the labor movement”. She served on President Obama’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board from 2009-2011 and launched co-chairs the Gettysburg Project on Civic Engagement as a Harvard University Advanced Leadership Initiative Fellow. She helped to create, and currently leads, the Cornell University ILR School New Conversations Projects, bringing together multi-stakeholders in global supply chains that focus on improving labor standards.

Ninh Trinh

Regional Director of Responsible Sourcing - Target SLCP Board member

Ninh is the Regional Director of Responsible Sourcing at Target, managing teams responsible for upholding human rights standards and promoting sustainable environmental practices throughout Target’s supply chain. He has over 20 years of experience in various positions within the retail industry, and is recently active in developing programs to support social compliance and supply chain improvement.

Tamar Hoek

Tamar is an international strategy and sustainability leader with over 20 years of experience driving multi-stakeholder collaboration across business, civil society, and government. Currently, she leads Solidaridad’s global fashion portfolio across 15+ countries, partnering with brands, manufacturers, investors, and policymakers to advance long-term industry transformation.
Alongside this, she serves in key governance roles, including Chair of Cascale and Co-Chair of Better Cotton Initiative, and was actively involved in SLCP from its inception, helping develop the Converged Assessment Framework (CAF) and serving on the Steering Committee through its spinoff. Tamar’s focus remains on moving beyond fragmented interventions toward ambitious, realistic structural change across global supply chains.

Sr Director Sustainable Fashion - Solidaridad

Mustafa Paşahan

President - IHKIB (Istanbul Apparel Exporters' Association)

Mustafa Paşahan has been active in the textile and ready-to-wear sector for 33 years as Chairman of the Board of Zevigas Textile Industry and Foreign Trade Ltd. and Zevigas Ready-to-Wear Corporation.
Paşahan became involved in industry associations in 2002, when he joined the Malatya Businessmen's Association (MİAD), and went on to serve as its Vice President from 2015.
In 2014, he joined the Board of Directors of the Istanbul Apparel Exporters' Association (İHKİB), where he has played an active role in representing the sector before the government. He became Vice President in 2022, and following the general assembly in April 2026, he was elected President of İHKİB.

Hernan Manson

Chief of Section - International Trade Centre (ITC)

Hernan is a private sector development advocate with 23 years of experience in value chain development and business advisory. He manages the Green and Inclusive Value Chains section of the International Trade Centre (ITC), the joint agency of the United Nations and the World Trade Organization, where he works with entrepreneurs, companies and producers to promote sustainable and inclusive trade, value addition, finance, and agricultural investment.
Hernan is a co-author of ITC's flagship publication The Coffee Guide and sits on the steering committee of the Smallholder and Agri-SME Finance and Investment Network, the advisory committee of the Centre for Circular Economy in Coffee (C4CEC), and the strategic advisory committee of ESCP Business School's CERALE Centre. He holds an MA in International Public Affairs and Governance and a degree in Business Management.

Wendy Coyle

Account Manager - Intertek ‍

Wendy brings over 20 years of experience with Intertek, where she has worked extensively in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility. Her expertise covers a wide range of industries and client audit programs, with a strong focus on ethical sourcing, social compliance, and responsible supply chain management. Through her work with global brands and suppliers, Wendy has gained deep insight into the challenges and opportunities facing businesses as they strive to meet growing CSR and sustainability expectations.

Leyla Ertur

Chief Sustainability Officer - H&M Group

Leyla Ertur has been Chief Sustainability Officer at H&M Group since 2021. She leads a global team of more than 300 sustainability professionals. She joined H&M Group in 2000 and has held leadership roles in sourcing, production and global supply chain management, including posts in Hong Kong and Istanbul. Leyla is also Co-chair of the Fashion Pact’s Operations Committee and a Board Member of Looper Textile Co.

Parul Chandra

Senior Director - Sumerra

Parul Chandra has over 20 years of experience working with international brands, consulting firms, and multi-stakeholder initiative in high impact roles across the Responsible Sourcing spectrum. With her career spanning over two decades, she thrives on leading global teams, managing large scale operations, developing strategies, stakeholder engagement, and facilitating partnerships to elevate social and labor standards globally.
She has successfully developed and implemented social and labor focused initiatives to address gaps in working standards and continues to develop new risk-based methodologies in her current role as Sumerra’s Senior Director/VOO lead for the SLCP program. Parul has a master’s in business and an undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Geology.
