In-Person Signatory Meeting in Copenhagen
On Monday 26 June, we held a signatory meeting in Copenhagen to discuss our next five-year Strategic Plan for 2024-2028. Representatives from all stakeholder groups actively participated, and discussion covered important topics such as legislation, data integrity and collaboration. The feedback from the meeting reinforces our direction for the coming months. All signatories can expect a final draft of the strategy, followed by the signatory vote in early September.

2022 Impact Report
Last month we announced the publication of the 2022 SLCP Impact Report. In case you missed it, you can read the report here. The report showcases the development & scaling of the Program in 2022, with a focus on impact and resources unlocked.

New Blog: Role of MSIs in Human Rights Due Diligence
Check out the new article on our website entitled “Alignment for impact: To maximize the impact of human rights due diligence, policymakers should define the role of credible multi-stakeholder initiativesin which we recommend that policymakers should recognize and provide proper guidance on the use of MSIs like SLCP in supporting the implementation of human rights due diligence (HRDD) in supply chains.

New Guidance on Sharing Feedback and Raising Complaints
We have updated our guidance on how to provide feedback or raise a complaint about an SLCP report or the assessment process. The latest guidance makes clearer the difference between feedback and complaints, and the different ways that these are handled by the Verification Oversight Organization, as well as setting out a clearer timeline for complaints handling.
