For practical information on using the SLCP Converged Assessment Framework, please go to the SLCP Gateway.   Events Reminder: In-person signatory meeting in Copenhagen  On 26 June we will present and discuss draft plans for the next 5 Year Strategic Plan (2024-2028) at an in-person signatory meeting in Copenhagen, in the week of the Global Fashion Summit.  Thank you to all those of you who have already registered! To those who may have missed our previous invitation, please register here.  SLCP exhibits at Outdoor by ISPO  SLCP was in Munich, Germany on 4-6th June exhibiting at Outdoor by ISPO, one of Europe’s largest outdoor sector trade fairs. We made connections with many new and existing stakeholders and received positive engagement with our mission to converge supply chain assessments in all tiers of the outdoor sector.    Quality Corner Welcome to a new feature in the SLCP newsflash: here in the ”Quality Corner”, we will include news and updates on our Verification Oversight & Quality Assurance strategy to help raise awareness among signatories. For this edition, we would like to draw attention to our recently updated QA Manual. In mid May, an updated version of the QA Manual was released following a three-month review and consultation with the members of the TAC (Technical Advisory Committee) VO (Verification Oversight).   To bolster the existing Quality Assurance processes, the following key updates have been made to the QA Manual:  Updates to the complaint process (section 5.3)  New section (section 5.5) on reporting confidential and sensitive information to SLCP and the VOO  Updates to section 6 on unethical behavior  Updates to the addendum process (section 8.2)    Spotlights on... The SLCP team has grown in the last couple of years, and we want to introduce you to some of the people who are lending us their expertise and experience to support further SLCP adoption. From time to time, we will give you a brief intro to different SLCP team members. You can see the full team here on our website.   Introducing our Senior Manager for Communications & Stakeholder Engagement, Holly Menezes!  At SLCP, Holly is responsible for stakeholder engagement including conveying our communications and engagement strategy. Before joining SLCP in 2019, Holly worked for the British Embassy for 10 years in various roles including as Consular Regional Operations Manager, where she managed 10 consular teams at British Embassies across Western Europe. The thing Holly likes best about working at SLCP is interacting with so many diverse stakeholders, hearing their perspectives, and learning from their experience.  When asked to describe something she’s planning to do in the next year that she’s never done before, Holly said “I’m about to have a baby boy so will be a mum of two for the first time, which is an exciting but daunting prospect! I’m grateful to be soon having some time off to spend with my newborn, and I’m sure I’ll also be very ready to get back to working with more grown-up stakeholders when I rejoin SLCP in January!” Set up an account on the Signatory Portal - an exclusive platform for SLCP signatories!
