SLCP Roadshow 2024 – Bangladesh!
Registration for events NOW OPEN!

After a successful series of events in China last year, the SLCP team will be on the road again in 2024, training facilities in new sectors on the benefits of the Converged Assessment Framework (CAF). In May, we will be hosting special FREE events in Bangladesh. Find more information about the upcoming trainings below, including the links to the invitation letters.

SLCP Training For Beginners: An introduction for new sectors

Thinking of rolling out SLCP deeper in your supply chain or into your non-apparel supply chain? This training is perfect for your nominated facilities!

These free introductory trainings are designed for facilities in Tier 2 or Tier 3 of the textiles industry, or facilities in any tier of the non-apparel sector, who have not already completed an SLCP assessment.

Registration now open!

If you'd like to invite your suppliers to attend one of these sessions, please use our invitation letter containing registration links for the available locations.

SLCP Deep Dive Trainings: The Data Collection Tool

Do you have facilities in Bangladesh who are already using SLCP and looking for more in-depth learnings?

We are also hosting free in-person deep dive trainings on the week of 13th May in Dhaka and Chittagong. These events are designed for facilities who are already familiar with the SLCP process, and who want to learn more about preparing and filling in our data collection tool, including common mistakes and country-specific guidance.

Registration now open!

SLCP offers a range of support tools, resources, and communications designed to enhance the competence and quality of Verifier Bodies (VBs) and Verifiers, such as our QA metrics dashboard, online Helpdesk, Technical Bulletin, VB calibration (training) webinars, VB-specific private dashboards and more!

So what are VB calibration training sessions?

General Calibrations: These sessions are tailored for Global Scheme Managers and Quality Managers. They are held every quarter and focus on overarching topics related to SLCP data. Our latest session earlier this month covered all post-verification activities with a special focus on report writing and quality review. Each session engages the attendees through polls, knowledge checks and case studies.

Regional Calibrations: This year, we’re going local! We are hosting four remote sessions in China, Vietnam, Turkey, and Bangladesh and one in-person calibration in India. These sessions will address country-specific challenges with a focus on driving Verifier Body (VB) alignment on Tool question interpretation. The sessions are for local staff responsible for the SLCP program and/or SLCP data quality. We will host our first regional calibration on May 22 for China. More info to follow.

Attendance at our training sessions is mandatory for VB Scheme Managers and Quality Managers. Failure to attend or view a calibration webinar is grounds for deactivation.

SLCP in Action!

Last week, our Business Development Manager, Lottie Watkinson, was at the LRQA Leadership Series conference and the Innovation Forum Responsible Sourcing and Ethical Trade Forum, meeting stakeholders from a range of sectors and hearing deep-dive discussion and debate about how different organizations are approaching Human Rights Due Diliigence (HRDD).
