CAF v1.5 Launch
The Converged Assessment Framework Version 1.5 will become available on the different Accredited Host platforms throughout the month of November, starting on the FFC platform in early November. The main changes in the CAF v1.5 are to enable new options such as full virtual verification and the use of Worker Engagement technology (WE Tech). As such, there are no substantial changes to the content of the Data Collection Tool in the CAF v1.5 apart from the introduction of some country-specific questions for Better Work countries and improvements to the wording of certain questions. You can already familiarise yourself with the changes (and update your mapping if applicable) by consulting the files available here. In November, we will communicate more details about the launch, and we also encourage signatories to sign up for the launch webinar scheduled for the end of November (details below).

SLCP Country Roll-out
With the launch of CAF v1.5, SLCP will also be available in the following countries: Canada, Czech Republic, Estonia, Israel, Sierra Leone, Sweden, Cambodia (TBC). This means that facilities in these countries can register on the Gateway and start the SLCP assessment process. As we approach the CAF v1.5 launch, more updates on the roll-out will be made available on the Gateway.

Support Services Revamped!
SLCP is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of our revamped Helpdesk and online training platform. The content on the Helpdesk was reworked to include new and updated articles in line with CAF v1.5 and expanded resources for facilities. The online training platform underwent an extensive makeover that features a simplified design and refreshed e-learning modules. Jessica is the SLCP representative in China and is responsible for training facilities and engaging stakeholders in China. Living in Shenzhen, China, Jessica has over eight years of experience conducting social audits and delivering CSR training for suppliers, facilities, and third-party audit firms.
The collaborative company culture at SLCP and its ambitious mission and vision are some of the many reasons why Jessica likes working at SLCP. Jessica loves to travel and looks back at her vacation to Yellowstone National Park in the US as her best-ever vacation.
