With the launch of the VB Selection Model this week, SLCP would like to remind all stakeholders of the role they play in SLCP's VB selection process.
Facilities: As owners of your data, you should be making an informed decision about which VB conducts your verification, based on quality scores that are now visible to you on the Accredited Host platform.
Brands: Brands should be sharing resources with their SLCP suppliers, and encouraging facilities to take scores into account when selecting a Verifier Body. Brands should not mandate which VB facilities choose.
Verifier Bodies: VBs should continue to strive for high quality, mistake-free verifications, which helps to maintain a higher VB score. Ensure adequate training for Verifiers, stay up to date and engaged with SLCP, and monitor your VB score.
