More signatories are using the CAF, reducing audit duplication
According to our 2022 Impact Report, more signatories than ever are using the Converged Assessment Framework (CAF)in place of proprietary tools. As a result, manufacturers are reporting a reduction in the number of audits they do each year. Interested to find out more about SLCP’s increasing impact? SLCP's digital platform for collecting workers' experience is now live. WE Tech is a digital platform for workers to directly report information about their experience working at a facility, via a mobile phone survey. WE Tech is mandatory for SLCP full virtual verifications and beneficial for SLCP onsite verifications.
Pakistan manufacturer, The Crescent Textile Mills Ltd. has shared its experience of implementing WE Tech. Based on worker feedback collected from the survey, it was able to create a WE Tech Action Plan and make improvements to its grievance mechanism systems, working hours and supervisor behavior. Read the full case study here.
To support the launch of this technology, facilities can join a focused WE Tech training webinar, 'Welcome to SLCP Worker Engagement Technology (WE Tech)!' on 27th August 16:30 Beijing time. Register here.
More information about how to implement WE Tech can be found on our Helpdesk.
Reminder:Don’t forget to schedule your verifications!
With Verifier schedules filling up, it’s going to be a busy Q4 so please encourage your facilities to beat the rush and schedule their verification soon! To find a Verifier Body in your country/region, checkout the Active Verifier Body List. Contact the SLCP Helpdesk if you have any questions.
