New ITC Report:The impact of SLCP on audit fatigue
We’re pleased to share our collaboration with the International Trade Centre (ITC) on research highlighting the issue of audit fatigue in the garment and textile industry.
ITC’s latest report, "Navigating the Regulatory Landscape: Audit Fatigue in the Garment and Textile Industry," reveals how SLCP's Converged Assessment Framework (CAF) effectively tackles audit fatigue, helping companies conduct meaningful due diligence.
Did you know that savings from the reduction of audit fatigue due to the adoption of SLCP are being reinvested in:
✔️ 74% --> Workplace improvements
✔️ 69% --> New programs/services for workers
✔️ 58% --> New technology
✔️ 24% --> Higher wages

SLCP in the electronics sector
SLCP is looking for electronics accessory facilities to participate in their first SLCP social and labor assessment in the electronics sector. Your facility will benefit from subsidized costs, end-to-end assistance and customized support to complete their assessment.
In the last newsflash we confirmed that the deadline for Verifier Bodies (VBs) to show that they will meet APSCA requirements has now passed. 84% of SLCP’s VBs met the requirements in time. We have now deactivated the VBs that did not apply to APSCA in time, meaning that they can no longer conduct SLCP verifications. We wanted to provide some additional clarity here on the situation for Verifiers without ASCA/ CSCA status:
Verifiers who are associated with APSCA Provisional or Full Member firms but do not themselves have ASCA/ CSCA status: These Verifiers have all now been deactivated and can no longer perform SLCP verifications.
Verifiers without ASCA/ CSCA status who are associated with VBs that are APSCA Applicant Members: These Verifiers can continue to perform SLCP verifications until their VB becomes an APSCA Provisional Member.
