Welcome to the SLCP Signatory Newsflash!

15 September 2021

Dear SLCP signatories,

Please find the latest updates from SLCP below. For practical information on using the SLCP Converged Assessment Framework, please go to the SLCP Gateway.

SLCP and APSCA Partnership
Data Quality and Integrity are a priority for the Social & Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) and to that aim we are pleased to announce our formal collaboration with the Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors (APSCA). Our collaboration with APSCA furthers our data integrity goals as both organizations have a shared vision to enhance the credibility of social audit organizations, reliability of social audit data, and implementation of the Converged Assessment Framework (CAF).
APSCA has been a consistent partner and advisor throughout our collaboration. SLCP has already been aligning with APSCA criteria to monitor and improve the performance of SLCP Verifiers and Verifier Bodies. Under this collaboration agreement, both organizations have now mutually agreed to share alerts and integrity investigations proactively and systematically. APSCA and SLCP will also continue to seek further avenues for engagement that will support our joint vision.

Data Interpretation and Integration Webinar Recording
Thank you to everyone who attended the Data Interpretation and Integration webinar. The webinar covered the topics of how stakeholders can access, integrate, and interpret SLCP data. The webinar also included guest speakers who shared their learnings and experiences. If you missed this webinar, watch the recording or take a look at the slide deck on our website.
SLCP Integrity Oversight Program
As part of our continuous efforts in improving verification oversight, we recently rolled out the Integrity Oversight Program in the newly updated Verifier Body Requirements document. The Integrity Oversight Program ensures Verifier Bodies (VBs) maintain an acceptable level of performance to uphold the quality and integrity of the SLCP program. Various Quality Assurance (QA) activities on VBs and their Verifiers result in a score for VBs, and now with the Integrity Oversight Program, the score level affects a VB’s status in SLCP.

Visit the Helpdesk to learn more about the Integrity Oversight Program. You can also find real-time information on our public QA metrics site about QA outcomes.
