New! Overtime Working Hours Factsheet
SLCP’s latest factsheet examines the presence of legal non-compliances in overtime working hours. Our data shows over half of facilities exceeded legal overtime limits in 2023.
While this is not a new issue, it remains a concerning trend in global supply chains due to its potential links to forced labor and unsafe working conditions.
Learn more about the data and discover steps stakeholders can take to reduce unlawful overtime in our factsheet on our website.
Last chance! Sign up for India stakeholder meetings
SLCP is holding two stakeholder meetings in India – Bengaluru on 19 November and New Delhi on 22 November.

In response to customer demand, we have launched a Vietnamese version of the Data Collection Tool to better support facilities in Vietnam.
The Vietnamese option is now available for facilities completing an SLCP assessment via the Worldly platform. While the questions are now available in Vietnamese, facility answers must still be given in English as is required with all versions of the translated Data Collection Tool. This is to ensure answers are applicable and can be interpreted by brands from across the globe.
Strengthening facility capabilities through DQI training
Facilities must maintain transparency and quality in the verification process to ensure that SLCP data is actionable and credible. We support facilities to achieve this by providing training on verification, quality assurance, and ethical practices.
Recently, we updated our facility training, where we delved deeper into the importance of selecting a Verifier Body (VB) based on their quality performance. We provided guidance on what can be considered ethical behavior, and the lasting consequences of unethical behavior.
In the training we also highlight the critical role of facility participation in onsite quality assurance activities, which helps identify data inconsistencies and ensures compliance with the Verification Protocol. This ultimately contributes to gathering high-quality data.
The Training Bodies have already been updated on the new content. To find out more about the training, click here.
