Vacancy: Training Internship

Position Description

The Social & Labor Convergence Program is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Training Intern to join our team in Amsterdam or remotely!

This role reports to the Training Manager and the Training & Communications Coordinator. You will be part of the Customer Growth & Innovation team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Your role would be to support the Training Manager and the Training & Communications Coordinator with implementing the training strategy. Tasks will include:

1) Content creation:

  • Develop training content (PPTX) in line with program developments

  • Support the update of e-learning content (HTML) on SLCP’s Online Training Platform

  • Support wider team by compiling slide decks for external events

  • Support Facility Newsletter development

2) Slide Library refresh

  • Work on our Facility Training Slide Library refresh project, including updating PowerPoint templates, transitioning slide formats, and refreshing content

3) Webinar management

  • Monitor webinar sign-up, attendance, and reports

  • Support with webinar content creation and back-end logistics

4) Other tasks as required

  • Administrative, logistical, and other support to the Customer Growth & Innovation team where needed

Qualifications & skills required

  • Working towards a bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in relevant field (sustainability, human rights, communications)

  • Strong (English) written and verbal communication skills, other languages are a plus

  • Highly motivated & passionate about improving human rights (labor conditions)

  • Experience with the Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint in particular) and online meeting tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams)

  • Ability to pick up new technologies quickly (e.g., Slack, Brevo, e-learning)

  • Strong attention to detail and a team player

  • Previous internship experience desired

  • Experience working with people from a variety of cultures and backgrounds desired

Employment, organization set-up and location

  • SLCP is a global team, mostly working remotely but with an office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

  • We are looking for two days a week of intern support for period of 4-6 months, for which we will pay the Netherlands minimum wage of € 13,68 per hour.

  • Ideally the candidate will be available to start immediately (exact dates and time commitment to be agreed upon).
