SLCP Vacancy: Program Intern (4-6 months)
Are you passionate about making organizations run smoothly and efficiently? Do you want to gain hands-on experience at the heart of a global team working toward decent working conditions in supply chains? SLCP is looking for a Program Intern to support our Program Coordinator in Amsterdam.
This internship will offer exposure to operational and HR processes, project and grant support, and internal coordination within a diverse, mission-driven organization.
About SLCP
The Social and Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) is a multi-stakeholder initiative committed to improving working conditions in global supply chains. SLCP addresses the burden of resource-intensive social audits by offering a universal social assessment tool, the Converged Assessment Framework (CAF). Read more on our website.
We are a global team based across 4 continents and 11 countries. This role will be based in Amsterdam.
About the Role
As a Program Intern, you will work closely with and support the Program Coordinator. You will gain experience in HR processes, internal coordination, project administration, and system maintenance.
Internship duration: 4–6 months
Time commitment: 4 days per week (flexible schedule to be agreed)
Location: Amsterdam (hybrid work model)
Start date: To be agreed
Your Tasks
Administration & Project Support:
o Assist with day-to-day tasks and internal coordination across teams
o Support grant management processes and help track project delivery timelines
HR & Internal Coordination:
o Assist with recruitment processes (posting vacancies, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews)
o Help onboard new team members and support internal capacity-building activities
o Organize team meetings and help prepare internal documentation
Operational & Software Support:
o Support maintenance of internal tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Airtable, etc.) to ensure smooth team workflows
o Assist with internal communications and event logistics
Meeting support:
o Help plan and provide logistical support for internal meetings and workshops
o Document meeting outcomes and follow-up actions
What we’re looking for
Highly motivated, proactive, and organized
Strong attention to detail and quality
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); experience with Airtable or similar platforms is a plus
Service-oriented mindset and problem-solving attitude
Able to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion
Interest in internal operations, HR, project management, or nonprofit administration
Experience working in diverse, multicultural teams is a plus
Based in the Netherlands for in-person check-ins with the Program Coordinator

We have a preference for a candidate based in Amsterdam/surroundings but will review applicants from other locations.
Candidates must have the right to work in the Netherlands

Candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelors program (or Masters).
