SLCP’s 2024-2028 Strategy – Signatory Consultation   Sign-up for the interactive signatory webinars!   Thank you to all those who have completed the strategy consultation survey. We are currently analysing the survey results.  The Strategy Committee and Secretariat would like to meet with signatories to present and discuss the results in webinars on 16 May. Please follow the links to register: Asia/ EMEA and EMEA/ Americas.  In-person signatory meeting in Copenhagen  We will be presenting our first draft (high level) of the 2024-2028 SLCP strategy in an in-person meeting in Copenhagen on Monday 26 June (in the week of the Global Fashion Summit). The meeting will take place from 14:00 to 17:00 in SOHO Meeting Rooms.  This will be the ‘flag-ship session’ in the development of the new SLCP strategy, with interactive discussions. Please register here.   Welcome New Council Members!  We are delighted to announce that we have two new members joining our SLCP Council. Leonie Abraham, VP of Business Development for Better Buying Institute joins us as a representative of the civil society caucus. Peter Haney, Director of Social Responsibility for Columbia Sportswear Company, will represent brands in the SLCP Council. You can find out more about Leonie and Peter here.   The new members are replacing Mary Bean and Tamar Hoek who are stepping down from their SLCP Council positions. SLCP at Industry Events Outdoor by ISPO  We are exhibiting at Outdoor by ISPO taking place from 4-6 June in Munich, Germany. We are looking forward to sharing our vision for converged assessment, collaborative action and improved working conditions with brands, retailers, and industry associations in the outdoor sector. Please make an appointment to meet us there by clicking here or reach out to SLCP’s Business Development Manager, Lottie Watkinson.  2023 Planet Textiles Summit   SLCP’s Senior Operations Manager, Sharon Hesp, will be speaking at the Planet Textiles Summit in Milan on 13 June. Hosted by the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, the event brings together textile and apparel organizations, industry leaders and stakeholders with a commitment to drive sustainability improvements throughout global supply chains (You can find the event agenda here). If you are attending as well and would like to meet up with SLCP, please feel free to reach out to Sharon.  SLCP stakeholder meeting in Boston, USA  SLCP is holding a stakeholder meeting on Thursday 27 July in Boston in the same week as the AAFA Social Responsibility Committee Meeting and Transparency Conference. The meeting will be an opportunity to get a full update on SLCP progress, to hear from SLCP signatories and Council members, and to raise questions and feedback with the SLCP team. The meeting will take place from 10am to 12:30pm at the Northeastern University School of Law, 416 Huntington Avenue, 220 Dockser Hall, Boston, MA 02115.
