Developing SLCP’s new 5-year strategy: How signatories can get involved

As announced in our General Assembly, our current strategic cycle will end this year. We are currently developing our next 5-year strategy (Find out more about the context and process here). Read on to find out how you can engage and input:

Opportunities for signatories to provide input & feedback
SLCP is a signatory-based organization, and we therefore want to actively engage you in the development process for our new strategy. Agency The Terrace will support the Secretariat in this consultation. We will have several Signatory touchpoints in the next coming months:

  • April: Kick off webinar: We will hold a short webinar (30 mins) on 19 April (EMEA / Americas) and 20 April (Asia/ EMEA) to run through the strategy development process and take any questions. Please follow the links to register.

  • April: Signatory survey: We have set up a survey to get your high-level input for the new strategy. We will use this information to inform the development of the building blocks for the new strategy. We would be grateful to receive one response per signatory by 1 May.

  • May: Interactive webinars: Once we have analyzed the survey results, the Strategy Committee and Secretariat would like to meet with signatories to present and discuss the results in webinars on 16 May. Please follow the links to register: Asia/ EMEA and EMEA/ Americas.

  • June: In-person meeting in Copenhagen: We will use your response and feedback from the webinars to confirm or adjust the strategy building blocks and elaborate them further in June. We aim to present our first draft (high level) strategy in an in-person meeting in Copenhagen on Monday 26 June in the afternoon (in the week of the Global Fashion Summit). This will be the ‘flag-ship session’ in the development of the new SLCP strategy, with interactive discussions. Please save the date for this and register here

The final draft plan will be shared with you end Q3 2023. We aim to present this in a webinar after which it will be put to vote to all Signatories.

We hope to have your input in this important process!
