Brands, retailers and organizations that accept SLCP verified data.
The following brands, retailers and organizations accept SLCP verified data. This means that if a facility has a verified SLCP assessment, the brands will usually accept this in the place of a third party or proprietary social audit. Scroll down for details of the countries/regions and tiers where SLCP verified data is currently accepted by each brand or standard holder.
If you are a facility and would like to know whether a brand will accept an SLCP verified assessment, please contact them directly for the most up-to-date information and to discuss your specific circumstances. Please note that SLCP is not a certification program, and suppliers will therefore be obliged to meet each brand’s code of conduct/compliance requirements.

The following list gives an updated overview of acceptance of SLCP data per brand and standard holder. Each organization provides information about which countries/regions and tiers they are ready to accept SLCP verified data from, and which tool Step they prefer to receive.

Preferred Step
Organizations can choose which Step of the tool they prefer to receive from facilities. Please note that this is a preference, and that an organization may still accept your assessment report even if you have not performed their preferred Step.

Manufacturing Tiers
Manufacturing tiers can be defined by process.
Tier 1 are all processes related to finished product assembly such as cutting, panel screen printing, embroidery, sewing, pressing, garment dyeing, washing & finishing, packing etc.
Tier 2 includes all processes related to material production such as weaving, knitting, fabric dyeing/printing, chemical/mechanical finishing, tanning etc.
Tier 3 includes all processes related to raw material production such as stock dyeing, yarn spinning/dyeing, fleshing, liming etc.
Tool Steps
The Converged Assessment Framework allows facilities to perform 3 different steps during their assessment process. All facilities must perform Step 1, and can choose to also perform Steps 2 and 3 for additional information.
Step 1 - Essential: Key social & labor compliance questions, mostly connected to International Labor Standards and National Labor Law.
Step 2 - Progressive: Includes Step 1. Focuses on management systems and questions that are additional/supportive social & labor compliance questions but less critical. These questions are often found in social industry and certification standards.
Step 3 - Advanced: Includes Steps 1 and 2. Questions that go above and beyond social responsibility industry standards, are not required by national or international law, and seek to elevate workplace well-being and community impact.
