New data research! Positive progress on digital wages

We are pleased to announce the release of our latest joint research on digital wages progress with Better Than Cash Alliance.

The latest data from over 5,000 SLCP facilities shows workers are increasingly being paid through digital channels.

🤩 Why is this good to see?
  • Cost savings -  by providing greater efficiency and speed in wage distribution
  • Transparency and security - by enhancing wage traceability and accountability
  • Inclusive growth -  by unlocking economic opportunities and resources for the financially excluded

CAF v1.7 - Be part of the Taskforce to influence the tool for 2025

We successfully closed our Taskforce for CAF v1.6. The launch is expected in early 2024. We are hoping to get even greater participation in the preparation of tool edits for 2025 operations. Some Taskforce members are continuing, but we need more recruits, especially from our manufacturer caucus. If you are interested in shaping the content of our data collection tool v.1.7, please reach out to annelise@slconvergence.org
  • Involvement timeframe: kick-off November 2023 and end of activity by May 2024
  • Approximate scope of activity: minimum 16 hours (includes Zoom calls, review of documents and providing feedback, etc )
  • Participant profile: technical experts who can advise on social and labor data that we are missing, need refinement on, or can further consolidate
🧐🤔 If you do not have the time to be part of the Taskforce, we also welcome detailed feedback that we can consider for CAF v1.7. Please share this call out for feedback with all your business partners, as we are open to feedback from any SLCP data users, not only signatories. Please send detailed and actionable feedback directly to annelise@slconvergence.org.
