“The strategy is evolutionary, building on key strengths and accomplishments from our first five-year cycle (2019-2023), while also recognizing where we need to improve and change.”

We are excited to be able to share with you our final five-year Strategic Plan. It has been developed collaboratively and consultatively with you, our signatories, as well as our partners and stakeholders.

From our signatory survey to interactive webinars and your responses in our special signatory vote in September 2023 – your feedback has been invaluable. Thank you all for your hard work and contributions.

We are pleased and proud to reflect on the impact that SLCP had had in developing and implementing the Converged Assessment Framework (CAF), a universal foundational tool for reviewing social and labor compliance and performance. In our second five-year Strategic Plan, we outline our Vision and unwavering commitment to empowering industry stakeholders with credible and actionable data that will enable them to drive transformative change.

This Strategy is evolutionary, building on key strengths and accomplishments from our first five-year cycle (2019-2023), while also recognizing where we need to improve and change. We will focus on four Strategic Aims:

•               Relevant and effective tools that can be scaled and used in multiple sectors

•               Credible and actionable data – with diverse stakeholders, including governments accepting the data

•               Accelerated collaborative improvement actions – to drive improved working conditions

•               Inclusive organization and dynamic ecosystem – with multi-stakeholder governance and committed partners.

SLCP will continue to engage, listen and address the multiple needs and viewpoints of our stakeholders in our dynamic and changing landscape, to maximize the impact that can we make together to improve working conditions in global supply chains.
